Golf fitness training at ULaunch focuses on both the physical and mechanical aspects of your game. To begin with, a physical movement screen is performed to determine your stability, mobility, and balance capabilities. Equally important, we then can analyze your swing to evaluate how your physical limitations may be affecting your golf swing on the course. Finally, using the golf fitness movement screen as a foundation, we can develop an individualized golf fitness program to compliment your needs. Some important factors to consider when discussing a golf fitness program – age, training age (your experience with training), physical health, movement patterns, and most importantly – WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS?
What are you trying to accomplish or improve in your golf game? More than likely, you don’t swing like Tiger or Bryson so you shouldn’t train exactly like them either. Here a few common components of a golf workout program.
- Improve accuracy through balance & stability
- Increase club head speed with mobility & power
- Decrease pain by focusing on mobility & strength
Therefore, assessing and developing a long term plan to address your physical and mechanical needs will increase your golf performance and, in turn, get you scoring lower!

Golf Fitness Movement Screen
The first step to any successful training program is the movement screen. This golf movement screen, developed by Titleist Performance Institute, focuses on assessing each joint in your body to provide an understanding of your physical limitations and how they may affect your swing. The screen consists of 16 tests measuring mobility, stability, and balance. This is the same screen that is used to assess professionals on the PGA and LPGA tour.
Don’t be overwhelmed, the screen is really simple and quick, and all you need is a chair, and 3 golf clubs (you got those?). Then you’re set!
Once you get assessed, you are then able to understand your physical limitations and we can develop an individualized fitness program to address those issues.

3D Golf Swing Analysis
The K-Motion 3D biofeedback evaluation assesses the mechanics of your golf swing. K-Motion is a training technology that uses 4 sensors (pelvis, upper body, lead arm, and lead wrist) to analyze your golf swing and provide objective data related to the following areas.
The evaluation consists of 10 swings, alternating 5 swings with your driver and 5 swings with your 6-iron. Once you have completed the 10 swings, a 10-page report is generated providing you with how you performed in each of the areas, along with how you compare to others your age and additionally, how you stack up with the pros!
Again, don’t be concerned about the wealth of information. All of this data paints a picture of where you are at and allows for precise programming to help your specific needs.
